Directions for Assembling Jumps |
| |
- Assemble the 2" piece of PVC into open end of T-Connector. Add second T-Connector to 2" PVC.
- Rotate T-Connector. Now you have two base assemblies.
- Connect both base assmeblies together with 42" PVC.
- Place end caps on the 35" pieces. Place these into connector at each base.
You are now ready to mark holes for drilling.
- Measure from the ground up for holes for jump heights. Be sure to consider the diameter of the bars before drilling holes. Jump heights should be at 8-inches, 12-inches, 16-inches, 20-inches, and 24-inches.
- Drill through the uprights.
- Attach bolts and nuts so you have proper placement for crossbars.
- Stripe bars with electrical tape if desired.
- After bolt assembly, place bars on bolts. Changing the jump height is as easy as moving the bars. If dog hits a bar it comes down for safety.
- Electrical tape and end caps for the crossbars are optional. You may choose to glue your jumps together to make them more rigid. For ease of disassembly, however, gluing may not be desirable. Enjoy!!
